Red, Blue, Adding - Help !!

Hello there :) Remember my 'Ball contest' ?
You had too add up the red balls and the blue balls then half it then add 20.
Well we have a winner ! The winner is ...

The answer was 49 :) For those who were confused , this is how i worked it out ;-
Right, First count up the red balls wich is 33 .
Then count up the blue balls wich is 25 .
So then add up 33 and 25 .
33+25= 58
So then half 58 .
Half of 58 is 29. Now you add 20 too 29 .
So 20+29= 49 :)
Get it ? Its quite easy if you work around the lodgic :)
(Below is a quick sum of what I did-Kinda for older children/adults)

33+25(=58) -29(=29)+20(=49) // 49
